Fr Francis Akkarapattiakal (Associate Pastor)

Fr. Francis Samuvel Akkarapattiakal was born on 23 February 1995 in Thrichur, Kerala. He was ordained a priest on 18 November 2023 at the St. Thomas Syro Malabar Catholic Forane Church, Scarborough. He was appointed Associate Pastor of the St. Alphonsa Cathedral from Jan 2024 onwards.

Fr. Francis completed his highschool education at Senator Occonor Catholic School, Scarborough and obtained Bachelor's in Science from the University of Toronto.

He joined the Seminary for the Eparchy of Mississauga in 2017 and was thereafter sent to Collegio Maria Mater Ecclessiae, Rome for Philosophy Studies. Following that, he was sent to St. Thomas Apostolic Seminary, Kottayam for his Theological Studies.
