Social Service Department

The ‘Social Service Department’ is the supportive arm and extension of the Social Apostolate of the Eparchy of Mississauga. Our mission is to create a seamless response system emphasizing the unique cultural and social values and belief systems of our community in the following 4 target areas:

1) International Students

2) New Immigrants

3) Families

4) Pioneers in the community.

We endeavor to come together as a vibrant team that serves, protects, preserves and enhances the quality of human life. We expect to help those in need, keeping in mind the total well-being of the person physically, mentally, spiritually, economically, and socially. We take inspiration from our Lord Jesus as he states in Matthew 25:40 “Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.”
