Pithruvedi

Pithruvedi is an association for all the married male members of our Parish. In our Parish, Pithruvedi was constituted in June 2021. St Joseph, the most Holy Spouse, is our patron saint. True to the characteristics of its patron saint, Pithruvedi strives to inculcate the importance of being selfless, family-centric and leading the family in a life of prayer and worship.

Activities

As a part of the Pithruvedi program, we have conducted a talk on family life by Fr. Kurian Puramadam in the month of June. In August 2021, based on Aadhya Phalam Daivathinu, the parishioners brought homegrown vegetables to sell in an auction. Almost $2,000 was collected and a major portion of this amount has been given, as a charity, to the poor families in India.
