“Young people, never be afraid of Christ! Never be afraid of life with Christ. He is life, and he gives meaning to life.” – Pope Francis

With great joy and gratitude, our parish community has begun the 2025–2026 Catechism academic year on Sunday, September 7th. This year, we are blessed with 661 students and 72 dedicated teachers, journeying together in faith to grow in the knowledge and love of Christ. The academic year was inaugurated at the eparchy level, with Rev. Fr. George Thuruthipally, Eparchy Catechism Director, lighting the lamp, marking the beginning of another year of grace and learning.

On this occasion, all our catechism teachers also took their oath of commitment, dedicating themselves to guiding our children in the light of the Gospel. We thank God for the gift of another year of faith formation and extend our heartfelt appreciation to all parents, teachers, and volunteers for their commitment. Parents are reminded of the importance of encouraging regular attendance, both in catechism classes and in the Holy Qurbana, which remains central to our children’s spiritual growth.

The Holy Qurbana for the Morning Shift is celebrated at 8:30 am for parents and younger children, followed by the 10:15 am English Qurbana for students in Grades 3–12 and others who prefer to attend. The Afternoon Shift begins with the 11:45 am Qurbana for parents and younger children, followed by the 1:30 pm English Qurbana for students in Grades 3–12 and those wishing to participate in English. As we begin this new academic year, let us keep all our catechism students and teachers in our prayers, asking the Lord to bless them with wisdom, devotion, and a strong foundation of faith, so that this year may be filled with abundant grace for every family in our parish.
