Teacher Appreciation Day

The parish observed February 4, 2023, as Teacher Appreciation Day for the first time at the Cathedral.  This day was set aside to appreciate and celebrate the commitment of our Catechism Teachers and to thank them for their dedication to the Church and to the community. The parish expressed her gratitude to the teachers for their efforts to bring the children closer to God. The day was started off with Holy Qurbana by His Excellency Mar Jose Kalluvelil, Rev. Jose Alencherry, Rev. Joyal Joseph and Rev. Father Bobby Joy.  This was followed by a special gathering with cultural programs of the teachers, talks by our Rev. Fathers, gift and lunch. The teachers received special gift as a token of the parish’s gratitude. We extend our sincere thanks to Rev. Jose Alencherry whose idea was this treat for the teachers. We also thank our trustees Mrs. Regeena Mathew and Mr. Raju Devis, and the Core Team for their efforts in organizing the meeting. Sr. Prasana, the principal welcomed the gathering and Mrs. Deepa Sabu gave the vote of thanks.
